Founded in 1956, Xiamen Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine is a third-grade, class-A hospital and the only third-grade traditional Chinese medicine hospital for injury detection in Fujian province.
Covering an area of 73,000 square meters, Xiamen Hospital of TCM houses 1,200 beds and is one of the largest traditional Chinese medicine hospitals in Fujian province. It is also responsible for four community healthcare centers.
The hospital employs more than 2,044 faculty and staff, including 260 senior professional technicians, 272 with masters or doctoral degrees, and three experts receiving a special allowance from China's State Council.
