Today, with over 2.2 million associates worldwide, Walmart operates more than 10,000 units in 27 countries under 69 different banners, and serves more than 200 million customers per week.

Walmart had $419 billion in annual sales in fiscal year 2011 (FYE11, Feb. 1 2010 to Jan 31, 2011), a 3.4 percent increase year-on-year. The charitable giving numbers reached $319 million for cash and 480 million for in-kind gifts by Walmart and Walmart Foundation in FYE11. In 2010, Walmart topped Fortune 500 once again and ranked first among the retailers in 2010 Favorite Companies issued by Fortune.
