Founded in 1998, Bombardier Sifang (Qingdao) Transportation Ltd (青岛四方庞巴迪铁路运输设备有限公司) is a Sino-foreign venture enterprise located in Qingdao, jointly invested by Sifang Locomotive & Rolling Stock Co Ltd, and Bombardier Corporation of Canada. 

Its main business includes designing and manufacturing high-grade passenger cars, passenger car bodies, electric multiple units, luxurious double-deckers, high-speed railcars and urban rail mass transit vehicles as well as providing outstanding after-sale service.

The company has been awarded with ISO 9001-2000 certification, an Occupation Health & Safety Management System certificate, an Environmental Management System certificate, and an EN15085 welding system certificate.
