Shanghai International College of Culture (SICC) is a non-government sponsored college which is located at No 202, south of Shanxi Road. The location is an oasis of serenity amid the chaos in the downtown Shanghai.

Over 3,000 foreign students from more than 30 different countries have studied in SICC since its establishment in 1989; the school's administration is devoted to spreading Chinese language and culture to foreigners, and providing high quality education to its students. It offers a variety of study courses and consultancy services for selection.

At present, the faculty of SICC consists of 12 full-time teachers and 18 part-time teachers who are proficient in at least one foreign language and well trained in Chinese teaching. More than 200 overseas students are studying at SICC, and it also organizes various cultural trips, family visits and other visit activities at the students' request.

The school has a long history of international exchanges and cooperation with diverse regional education organizations such as the Faculty of Arts of Nantes University in France, Yew Wah International Education Foundation in Hongkong and Kanwajuku and Asia Culture Center in Japan.

The other teaching venue of SICC is located at No 37, south of Shuicheng road in the Gubei Community, in Chang Ning district.
