Ordos Institute of Technology was founded on April 28, 2015 and is the only undergraduate university in Ordos.
At present, it has 15 undergraduate programs in areas including engineering, science, art and medicine.
The institute has 442 staff members, including three doctoral supervisors and seven postgraduate supervisors, and 6,857 students, including 3,357 undergraduates and postgraduates.
It has two campuses in Kangbashi and Dongsheng districts respectively.
