Zhejiang Chinese Medical University

Zhejiang Chinese Medical University is located near the south bank of Qianjiang River, in the city of Hangzhou, a world-famous tourist resort known for its beautiful scenery and rich cultural heritage.

ZCMU, with 1035 teaching faculty and 10300 full-time students, is composed of 15 colleges, 3 directly affiliated hospitals and 13 indirectly affiliated hospitals. It offers 21 undergraduate majors, covering 5 fields in medicine, science, engineering, management, and arts.

The university shares 16 SATCM key Specialty and Tertiary Disease Centers, and also 31 provincial key Specialty and Tertiary Disease Centers.

In 2001 and 2008, it was awarded "Excellence" on undergraduate education by the Ministry of Education.

Two years later, it took the lead among provincial universities in establishing the TCM post-doctor station, and in the same year, the former Zhejiang Jiangong Hospital became its second affiliated hospital.
