Lama Cave, with petroglyphs, is in Daqing Mountain in the Tumd Left Banner 40 km to the east of Hohhot. Its temple was built during the Shunzhi reign of the Qing and covers a 100-sq-m area. The Qianlong emperor named the temple Guanghua, meaning "educate all". It has 124 stone steps leading up to it, with paintings of various sizes on the cliff on both sides of it.
