Muyun Industrial Park

Hunan Changsha Muyun Industrial Park was established in August 2001, and in 2002, the park was promoted to be a National Town & Township Enterprises Technical Park; in 2006 the park was approved by National Development & Reform Commission and Hunan Provincial Government to be a province-level development park. The land area of the park in planning was enlarged to 8 sq. kilometers from 3.18 sq. kilometers, and for several times was granted by Changsha Committee of CPC and Changsha Municipal Government with the titles of Demonstration Park and the First Prize in Park Construction and Management.

By its unique location and transportation advantages, Muyun as an industrial park fully takes its advantages for development, and strengthens its business invitation and capital introduction to speed up the constructions of the introduced projects. The park has gained obvious effects in business invitation and capital introduction, and well constructed its important projects. By now, the whole town totally has 163 introduced projects, and has introduced domestic paid-in investment totally 8.85 billion RMB Yuan and overseas investment totally 143 million USD. The industrial economy of the park grows steadily. In 2010, the park achieved a total industrial output value 3.63 billion RMB Yuan, including 2.51 billion Yuan achieved by the industrial enterprises above the designated size, 69% in the total value; the industrial enterprises above the designated size has reached 33, and has preliminarily formed 5 key industrial backbones of auto parts, new materials, machine building, foods processing, construction and construction materials.

At the meantime, the park focuses on the developments of new type industrial projects mostly in high technology, low energy consumption and self innovation, with impressive results of technical research. The park also brought up a batch of new key technical innovation enterprises, such as Hunan Advanced Corporation for Materials & Equipments, Changsha Pangeo Cable Industries Co., Ltd., Hunan Yatai Industrial Co., Ltd. and Genchang Doors & Windows Co., Ltd. Now there are 1 province-level and 2 city-level technical centers in the park, and the town was approved to be a City-level Technical Innovative Town in 2010.
