The Huanjiang Industrial Park (环江工业园区) was approved by Hechi Party committee and government in December 2004. It sits in Huanjiang Maonan autonomous county in the northwest of Guangxi, and was named an A-class park after expert review, which entitled it to enjoy local government preferential policies. The park is in charge of the Chengxi and Luoyang industrial parks, with total planned area of 1,054 hectares (671 hectares for Chengxi and 383 for Luoyang). The Chengxi park is in the west of Huanjiang county and mainly engages in wood board, agricultural and sideline products processing industries, as well as machinery manufacturing, with textile, food processing, pharmaceuticals, logistics and building materials as auxiliary industries. The Luoyang park sits in the north of the Luoyang town government and mainly specializes in chemical, mining and metallurgy, and thermoelectric industries. It has well-developed transportation system and is 290 kilometers away from Nanning, 160 kilometers from Liuzhou and 30 kilometers from Hechi. Guizhou-Guangxi and Luoyang-Maolan railways run across the Luoyang park.

Huanjiang county is famous for its beef, lead and zinc, as well as pork, duck and edible fungus. It abounds in natural and geographical resources and has developed sound water, electricity, road and telecommunication facilities. The Huanjiang park has built mature forest and agricultural products processing and chemical industries (including metallurgy).

The park management committee is striving to transform the park into a quality service, safety and wealth-creating land to attract more entrepreneurs from scientific and technological, business and financial circles in China and abroad for investment and common development.
