Located in the beautiful Dongqian Lake Tourist Resort, Ningbo Youngor Zoo (宁波雅戈尔动物园) covers an area of 1,900 mu (127 hectares), in which lives nearly 10,000 animals of over 200 species. It was rated as a national 4A-level tourist spot, the second highest level recognized by China's National Tourism Administration in 2005.

Visitors can see precious domestic animals such as golden monkeys and golden antelopes, and various foreign animals such as rhinoceros and zebras from Africa, kangaroos and ostriches from Australia, flamingos, ruffed lemurs, ring-tailed lemurs and llamas from the Americas and white lions from Asia.

The zoo is the first in China to create an animal viewing route on water,allowing visitors to sit in the boat and watch herbivorous animals on both sides of the lake and quadrumana on the islands in the lake.

08:00 am - 4:00 pm from May to October

08:30 am - 4:30 pm from November to April
