Inner Mongolia Datang International Togtoh Power Generation Co Ltd (内蒙古大唐国际托克托发电有限责任公司) was established by Datang International Power Generation Co Ltd, Beijing Energy Investment Holding Co Ltd and Inner Mongolia Mengdian Huaneng Thermal Power Corporation in Hohhot, capital of Inner Mongolia autonomous region in November 1995.

The company is a key project in the country's 10th Five-Year Plan (2001-2005), the national West-East electricity transmission project and the Go-West campaign. the world's largest operating fossil fuel power plant, with a total capacity of 6.72 million kWs. During the first ten months of the year, Togtoh has achieved a total industrial output valued at 3.93 billion yuan ($60 million),  down 1.5 percent from a year ago.
