The second China-Mongolia Expo will be held from Sept 26 to Sept 30 in Hohhot, capital of Inner Mongolia autonomous region, according to a news conference held at the Ministry of Commerce (MOC) on Aug 1.

The exposition will focus on building an economic corridor between China, Mongolia and Russia, as well as finding areas for mutual cooperation and benefits, according to Qian Keming, vice-minister of the MOC.

The exposition, which consists of product demonstrations, forums and business negotiations, will provide a platform for communication between all participants.

Qian claimed that as one of the sponsors of the exposition, MOC will support related parties to hold a successful expo and share cooperation results.

"We are willing to work with all parties to make a great contribution to promoting economic development of China and Mongolia as well as the rest of Northeast Asia,” he said.

The biennial event is the biggest exchange program between China and Mongolia in recent years. The first China-Mongolia Expo was held in 2015, and delegates from China, Mongolia, Russia and Malaysia attended the expo, which was also held in Hohhot.
