Jiuyuan district confirms key projects worth $17b

Jiuyuan district has confirmed support for 135 key projects worth 117.72 billion yuan ($17.06 billion) during 2017, reports Baotou Daily.

An investment of 30.61 billion yuan is expected to be completed by the end of 2017.

A total of 24 projects among the 135 are worth more than 1 billion yuan.

Among the 135 projects, 96 are new projects, drawing an investment of 56.18 billion yuan, and 20.07 billion yuan is expected to have been spent on the projects by the end of 2017. The rest are projects which started before 2017, drawing an investment of 61.54 billion yuan in total, and are expected to utilize investment of 10.54 billion yuan by the end of the year.
