The Seaside Park

The Seaside Park in Zhanjiang is located in the seaside area in the northeastern corner of Xiashan district, Zhanjiang city, Guangdong province. It boasts beaches with fine white sands, blue seawater, high coconut trees, green-carpet-looking grass, and colorful flowers.

With such charming subtropical maritime scenery, it is known as the "Living Room of the Zhanjiang City". The Park boasts such attractions as the steel sculpture titled "Sailing in the High Waves" (the image of Zhang Xiaodong, the first Zhanjiang-born Olympic Gold Medalist) the Moon Island, the Moon Lake, and the Central Square.

Service facilities inside the Park include a gaily-painted pleasure-boat restaurant, bowling, an opera house, an entertainment center, swimming pool, dancing hall, convenience stores, and a barbeque area. The amusement park provides a wide range of activities such as electronic amusement city, bumper cars, battery cars, small trains, and a merry-go-round.

How to Get There: Take Bus No 2, or No 9 or No 31 and get off at the Times Square Stop; or take Bus No 16 and get off at the Senior Cadre's Activity Center.
