The Inner Mongolia parade float -- one of the star attractions in Beijing during the grand parade marking the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China -- has returned in triumph to Hohhot.

It’s now on display in the capital city of North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region, according to Hohhot Evening News.

Officials said the parade float will be on display for two months.

The float measures 15 meters in length, 6 m in width and 10 m in height.

It features galloping Mongolian horses, to honor the spirit of Mongolian horses. Officials said it also integrates a design element representing the grasslands, to showcase Inner Mongolia’s unique grassland culture as well as the concept of environmental protection and sustainable development.

The float was designed by Li Yibo, a professor at the National Academy of Chinese Theater Arts.
