Many locals did not know what to do after their mobile phone services were suspended due to suspected nuisance calls in Jinan. The operator said they had suspended several mobile phone services of users suspected to have made many nuisance calls. In addition, users who have been blacklisted need to show certificates issued by their companies or neighborhood committees to prove that they have not made nuisance calls to harass others, if they want to be removed from the blacklist. One user, surnamed Liu, said the operator suddenly suspended her mobile phone services without prior notice, causing her great inconvenience. Liu is a teacher, but she had dialed a friend's mobile phone number more than 40 times in a very short period of time because she could not get in touch with her friend earlier this month.
