E China's Haimen sees steady economic growth

The city of Haimen in East China's Jiangsu province saw sturdy economic growth during the first five months of 2019, with a range of economic indicators showing steady expansion, according to a June 22 report by Haimen Daily.

The general public budget revenue of the city from January to May reached 3.27 billion yuan ($475 million), representing a year-on-year growth of 4.4 percent.

In the same period, the city's tax revenue reached 2.706 billion yuan, accounting for 45.1 percent of the annual budget target.
