The 2019 "Strive to Win" Qiansen Aohan 100 International Ultra Trail was held on June 15 in Aohan city, in the Inner Mongolia autonomous region.

The running race comprised three categories - 30 kilometers, 50 kilometers and 100 kilometers, and attracted more than 400 runners from Germany, England, Italy, Japan, the United States and Denmark.

Shi Shengli won the 50-kilometer race for men with a time of 4 hours 24 minutes and 1 second.

"The course is neither too difficult nor too easy, which is suitable for cross-country runners," said Shi.

Zhang Zhenlong, the winner of the 100-kilometer race in the men's group, was impressed by the environment and scenery along the route.

"On the route I saw many animals such as rabbits, cows and deer, which added fun to the race," he said.

Jade is popular in Aohan, and the top three runners in each group won a special jade medal.

The race is also the qualifying race of the Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc, one of the most difficult races in the world.

The Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc is a single-stage mountain ultramarathon in the Alps covering around 171 kilometers and a total elevation gain of around 10.040 meters.
