China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair

The China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair (ICIF) is jointly hosted by the ministries of culture and commerce, the State Administration of Press and Publication, Radio, Film and Television, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and the Guangdong and Shenzhen governments.

It is organized by the Shenzhen Press Group, the Shenzhen Media Group, Shenzhen Publication and Distribution Group Company and Shenzhen International Cultural Industry Co., Ltd. As the only national-standard international and integrated cultural fair in China, ICIF focuses on exhibition and exchange while being committed to building a trade platform for China’s cultural industrial products and projects, driving the development of China’s cultural industries and advancing the globalization of Chinese cultural products.

ICIF is the only cultural fair approved by UFI (the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry) in China. After 14 years of growth and development, the scale of the exhibition transaction area at ICIF has reached 105,000 square meters, and the number of exhibitors has increased from more than 700 in the first session to 2,308 in the 14th. The transaction volume has increased year by year, as have the number of countries and regions that visited, exhibited and purchased at ICIF, starting from 10 in the first session to 101 in the 14th session. The number of branches increased from one to 67 by the 14th session.

The 14th ICIF showcased more than 100,000 cultural and creative industry exhibits at home and abroad, and nearly 6,000 cultural industry investment and financing projects were displayed and traded on the spot. The fair has attracted 130 institutions from 42 countries to participate. The overseas exhibition areas accounted for 20 percent of the total exhibition area, attracting 21,386 overseas purchasers to visit, purchase and negotiate at the fair.
