Shenzhen International Machinery Manufacturing Industry Exhibition

The Shenzhen International Machinery Manufacturing Industry (SIMM) exhibition, the largest manufacturing show in south China, was first held in 2000. With the fast development of the manufacturing industry since then, China has stepped into a new era of industrial upgrading and technological innovation, creating a good opportunity for SIMM to lead a dramatic expansion of the machine manufacturing industry in China.

SIMM was the first international event in South China approved by the UFI. Starting as a traditional trade fair, SIMM succeeded in transforming into an international information platform for exchanging ideas in advanced technology and customized manufacturing solutions.

Focusing on individualized, digital and intelligent solutions for different industries, SIMM looks at the latest technologies in the fields of mechanical manufacturing and metal processing in terms of intelligent equipment, automation applications, flexible production, system integration and more, SIMM is currently the preferred platform for understanding cutting-edge manufacturing technologies in the automotive, communications, consumer electronics, home appliances, molds, office equipment, medical equipment, new energy, glasses and jewelry industries in South China.

Nowadays, SIMM has three theme exhibition areas: MTE (Shenzhen International Machine Tool Exhibition), RSE (Shenzhen International Robotics and Smart Factory Exhibition) and ISE (Shenzhen International Industrial Supply Exhibition), forming ten professional exhibition areas including metal cutting machine tools, cutting tools and automation applications.

Covering an exhibition area of 110,000 square meters, the 19th SIMM held in 2018 attracted 1,155 exhibitors and 134,921 professional visitors.
