National experts engage in marine tech discussion in Zhoushan

The Ocean College of Zhejiang University in Zhoushan, East China's Zhejiang province held the fourth National Marine Technology Academic Conference on May 16. 

More than 600 Chinese experts and scholars gathered together to discuss the future trend and research direction of marine technologies, and display the latest achievements in the field.

Fourteen of them delivered speeches on nine related topics such as underwater observation, intelligent marine technologies and marine protection. There were also 157 panel sessions held during the conference.

In addition, an international marine technology exhibition also opened on the day, with the participation of 53 universities, research institutes and companies from across the country.
