Manzhouli People's Hospital, which was formerly known as Manzhouli No 1 Hospital, was founded in 1945 in Manzhouli, North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, which borders Mongolia and Russia.

The hospital was upgraded to a 3A-grade facility at the end of 2018.

It covers an area measuring 54,992 square meters and has a construction area of 41,356 sq m. The hospital is divided into five parts – an outpatient building, pediatric ward, infectious diseases department, administrative office, and healthcare services center.

It provides 499 inpatient beds and employs 734 staff members, with 110 holding senior positions. It is also equipped with advanced medical equipment and facilities to efficiently and accurately deal with many different kinds of conditions.

There are 13 wards, 29 clinical departments, and 51 specialties, including digestive medicine, quarantine, oncology, emergency medicine, and transfusions.

The hospital also maintains partnerships with hospitals in Beijing and the autonomous region to conduct remote consultations and facilitate medical referrals in difficult cases. In addition, taking full advantage of its location, it has strengthened academic and technological exchanges with hospitals in Mongolia and Russia.
