Quzhou University

Quzhou University is a full-time general undergraduate college with an emphasis on engineering. The school was founded in 1985 as Zhexi College of Zhejiang University of Technology. In March 2010, it was upgraded and renamed Quzhou University by the Ministry of Education.

Covering a construction area of 222,300 square meters, the college has seven schools: chemistry and materials engineering, mechanical engineering, architecture and engineering, electrical and information engineering, economics and management, teacher education, and foreign languages.

The college offers 36 undergraduate majors in engineering, literature, science, education, art, management, and economics. It currently has more than 7,800 full-time undergraduate students.

The college has four provincial-level first-class disciplines, one provincial-level undergraduate major, and three provincial-level specialties. The total set of teaching and research equipment is worth 135 million yuan ($20.13 million), and the collection of books amounts to more than 900,000.
