Allowing children to learn in Yangzhou

A total of 10 new learn-through-travel routes will be launched, together with a batch of learn-through-travel bases. Thirty tutors will be cultivated and relevant preferential policies will be released.

Increasing standardized and international service ability

Public facilities such as guideboards, bus stops, parking lots and city parks will be renovated into tourism-friendly places, catering to the needs of inbound tourists and promoting the fruits of Sino-French standardization cooperation in tourism.

More than three professional meeting and exhibition service companies are expected to be set up in Yangzhou. Thirty meeting and exhibition planners and 100 meeting managers will be cultivated to provide customized services for high-end companies such as listed companies.

Pushing forward "toilet revolution"

In downtown Yangzhou, people will be able to reach a public toilet within a 10-minute walk and a guide to toilets at night will be improved.

Sufficient, clean and free public toilets will be constructed above A-level in all A-level scenic areas, provincial starred rural tourism areas and tourist resorts, and all scenic areas in Yangzhou above AAAA-level shall be covered by AAA-level public toilets.

Providing more intimate guide and voluntary tourism services

Guides' commentaries on Yangzhou will be upgraded in an all-around way and the tour guide service offered by pedicab drivers and commentators in scenic areas will be regulated.

Ten more voluntary service stations will be set up, allowing people to get tourism service within a 10-minute walk.

Free tour guide service will be available during peak seasons at five major scenic areas; Slender West Lake, Daming Temple, Ge Garden, He Garden and Yangzhou Museum of Guangling King's Tomb in the Han Dynasty.

Letting tourists feel safe in Yangzhou

At all scenic areas above or at AAA-level, police officers will provide standardized services to visitors, including tourist guidance, basic tourism insurance, information consultation, and handy packages of traveling necessities.

Circuit courts managing tourism affairs will be set up in Yangzhou's Guangling district to deal with visitors' complaints.

Yangzhou also promotes 24 good-mannered behaviors among visitors and tourism service providers, such as ordering proper amounts of foods, taking leftovers home to reduce food waste, and always wearing a smile.
