Hohhot offers snow and ice celebrations in Spring Festival

The 2019 Chinese New Year is approaching. Hohhot, the capital of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region is ready to celebrate the year of the pig through a series of interesting activities with an ice and snow theme.   

1. Hasuhai Ice and Snow Festival

Time: Early January 2019 – Middle February 2019

Location: Chilechuan Culture Tourist Area in Tumd Left Banner

Highlights:

Ice and snow entertainment events: More than 20 kinds of ice and snow events are available for both grown-ups and children, including drifting, cycling and skiing on ice.

Hot spring baths: Visitors can experience outdoor hot springs surrounded by an icy landscape.

Car rally race: Innovatively combing rally race with ice and snow conditions, the competition is a good option to feel the charge of such an extreme challenge.
