Hohhot offers snow and ice celebrations in Spring Festival

2. Wuchuan International Ice and Snow Lantern Festival

Location: Nanshan Mountain, Kezhen town, Wuchuan county

Theme: Enjoy the charm of ice and snow in Wuchuan county

Highlights:

A large scale affair: The festival has a total construction area of 120,000 square meters and is divided into several areas, including a lantern show area and an ice sculpture and shopping fair. The ice sculpture park occupies 30,000 sq m, the lantern show area covers 30,000 sq m, and the entertainment area covers 60,000 sq m.

Numerous activities: Activities taking place during the festival includes live performances, an ice sculpture competition, a food festival, and a sports area.
