3. 2019 Bologna Illustrators Exhibition

This world renowned exhibition will showcase 77 selected works from 25 countries and regions, as chosen by a jury of five international experts out of 15,265 works by 3,053 illustrators submitted. The final stop of the Bologna Illustrator Exhibition’s world tour in China will also include the Chinese Original Illustrations Exhibition, featuring 103 excellent contemporary and classic works of original Chinese picture book masters.

In addition to being introduced to award winning works from top illustrators from around the world, visitors will also get a chance to look back on the course of the art form in China. The exhibition of Chinese original picture book masters contains masterpieces from different periods, featuring such famous works as The Monkey King, Story of San Mao's Vagrant Life, and The Nine-Colored Deer.
