Nantong's Qidong to have largest nursing center in Jiangsu

Construction on the Social Welfare Center in Qidong, a county-level city in Nantong, East China’s Jiangsu province, will be completed in May, and the center will be put into use in July, according to a local media organization.

By now, the main part of construction work has been done, with interior and exterior decoration currently in process. Once it is completed, it will become the largest elderly-care center in Jiangsu province.

Unlike traditionally designed nursing homes, the nursing center includes lifestyle features integrated into the facility. It will include a shopping mall, a residential community, a hospital and even an amusement park to meet the various demands of senior citizens living in the center.
