Sanya to cooperate with Tencent

The Sanya municipal people's government signed a cooperation agreement with Tencent on Jan 13.

The two parties plan to cooperate in urban "super brains", industry/industrial space development and urban brand promotion.

As a world-renowned internet company, Tencent is strong in social networking services, digital content production and distribution, big data and artificial intelligence. 

The company, founded in November 1998, is now one of China's largest internet service providers. It was listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on June 16, 2004.
