2.Polaris Horologe Culture Museum

Polaris Horologe Culture Museum is the first museum focusing on clock culture in China. It features a building with modern architecture and covers over 3,000 square meters.

The museum boasts three main display areas to show visitors the evolution of timekeeping in China, China's modern clock industry development and the history of the clock across the world. More than 500 items from ancient and modern times are on display.

Opening time: 8:30-16:40

Location: No 21 Guangren Road Zhifu district, Yantai.

3. Changyu Wine Culture Museum

Changyu Wine Co was founded in 1892 by businessman Zhang Bishi. In 1992, to mark its centenary, a wine culture museum was set up in Zhifu district of Yantai city. The museum presents the long history of Changyu. It also shows the rise of China's wine companies.

The Changyu Winery is the largest winery in Asia. The construction of the winery started in 1894 and finished in 1905. It covers 2,666 sq m. The winery has a fine design. It features abundant  cultural heritage and is open to tourists. But it still functions as a winery with more than 600 barrels. Among them there are the seven oldest barrels with over a hundred of years of history, made of oaks imported from Europe during the early years of the company. There are three barrels that can contain 15 tons of wine.
