In September of 1998 the Chinese government sanctioned Shanghai Angel's Kindergarten to operate in Shanghai. Korean parents who work and live in China give their children a chance to experience China. We are a Korean Kindergarten, specifically bringing these children further knowledge and understanding of their Korean heritage, culture and thought.

Age 5: The goal of this program is to explore basic life skills, learning the rules, behavior and structure of life at school. This year focuses on allowing kids to observe nature and introduces variety of art materials.

Age 6: This year mainly focuses on teaching Korean tradition using Korean traditional songs and storybooks. This program includes learning Korean letters, speech and play.

Age 7: Using English books with fun and interesting titles and subjects, Korean and English teachers co-teach together to create a learning environment through which kids can experience another language and culture.

Special Education: Our school works to integrate kids with needs into the classroom. Homeroom teachers work with the special education teacher helping kids learn social skills, conversation skills, and build relationships with their classmates.
