The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology Master degree in Business Administration (HKUST MBA) program nurtures global leaders who can speak their minds and work well with others in a wide range of cultural contexts. HKUST MBA will develop your ability to manage a career successfully in the global economy, and operate a business effectively in the Chinese context.
As a student in our MBA program, you will benefit from the rich experience and diverse viewpoints of our internationalized faculty and develop close relationships with peers from all parts of the world. You will also gain new perspectives from field trips in Asia, and have the opportunity to participate in an exchange to another leading business school in the region of your choice.
The general criteria for eligibility for completing the program in 12 months are strong work experience and significant international exposure. Approval for the shorter duration is given on an individual basis at the discretion of the MBA Office.
With largely the same curriculum as the 12-month program, the full 16-month program includes an optional internship in the first summer and an Exchange Program in the fall of the second year. All 16-month full-time students are guaranteed a place in the exchange program, which will enhance their international exposure and help them develop a more global perspective.
Various scholarships and awards are available to our full-time MBA students. Scholarships offered by the MBA Office or other donors are used to settle program fees, living expenses, etc.
