Manpower tricycles

The city of Yangzhou is divided into two parts, the eastern and western areas. The eastern area isn't modernized, with streets quite narrow and inaccessible by buses, making the manpower tricycle the most practical means of transportation there.

The starting price for the manpower tricycle is 5 yuan ($ 0.74), and 1 yuan for an extra km. However, people are accustomed to giving a rough estimate of the distance. It is recommended to bargain the price with the driver before boarding the tricycle.
